Feature highlights:
- Penchala Interchange on the
Penchala Link is a 5.5km, 3-tier,
Y-interchange connecting SPRINT
Highway and LDP with a segmental
bridge of 65m spanning over the
LDP and a unique 710m, Moorish-influenced
twin-bore tunnel.
- Kiara Interchange multi-tier
connecting Kerinchi Link and Damansara
Link on the SPRINT Highway, designed
as a major access into the city.
Environmental management was strictly
adhered to during the construction
as the alignment traversed through
hilly terrain.
- Kerinchi Interchange is a 11.5km,
3-tier, Y-interchange connecting
the SPRINT Highway to the Federal
Highway Route II. Distinctive
feature is a double-decker viaduct
of 2.9km with staggered toll plazas
and tandem toll booths.

The Western Kuala Lumpur Traffic Dispersal
Scheme was designed as a network of links to
relieve congestion in the heart of Kuala Lumpur
city, besides catering for increased traffic
capacity in these areas.
The highway essentially upgraded and connected
existing roads to new growth areas and provide
for a new link to further catalyse development.
26.5km in length, the 3-lane dula carriageway
comprise 3 vital links: Damansara Link, Kerinchi
Link and Penchala Link.
Kerinchi Link
- 11.5km from the Federal Highway (at Angkasapuri)
to NKVE at Jalan Duta.
- 5 interchanges at Jalan Duta, Mont Kiara,
Sri Hartamas, Intan and Kerinchi.
- FIRST in Malaysia to feature a double deck
structure.
- New north-south spine road providing faster
and more convenient travel.
Damansara Link
- 9.5km from Kayu Ara - Jalan Damansara -
Semantan.
- 6 interchanges at Kayu Ara, Section 17,
Tmn Tun Dr Ismail, Kiara, Maarof and Semantan.
- Multi-tier interchanges instead of previous
signalised traffic junctions.
- Safer, faster and convenient travel with
time savings of up to 20 minutes.
Penchala Link
- 5.5km from LDP at Bukit Lanjan - Penchala
- Mont Kiara.
- 3 interchanges at Kg. Sg. Penchala, Taman
Tun Dr. Ismail and Mont Kiara.
- FIRST in Malaysia to feature a 710m twin
tunnel, the widest in Malaysia.
- Provides a faster and direct link for Sungei
Buloh - Damansara corridor to Mont Kiara/
Duta.
- Catalyst for economic growth especially
in the Western part of Kuala Lumpur.
