• Jobs and Skills Training for Orang Asli communities

The Orang Asli community affected by the Sungai Selangor Dam was provided construction equipment training to enable them to enter employment in the construction industry.

• Gamuda Scholarships

The Group believe strongly that education is the foundation to one's personal development and growth. As such, it has over the years, consistently helped to provide for higher education opportunities through the awarding of scholarships to needy students.

Scholarship worth RM5 million (USD1.3 million) have been awarded, thus far, for university education in engineering, quality surveying and information technology.

Gamuda, under its specialised training arm, Gamuda Plant Operator School (GPOS), design and construct training programmes for workers in the construction industry.

Our responsibility to the community is reflected in many way contributions we make in response to their needs. Some of these contributions of major projects include contribution of cash and donation of land for building of schools for the community.
