Mr. David Wong Choo Ong graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM).  Prior to joining Gamuda, he was Country Human Resource Manager at Johnson Controls Malaysia. Mr. David Wong has previously worked with Hong Leong Group Malaysia, Guinness Anchor Berhad and Mah Sing Group Berhad. He has extensive experience in human resource management and industrial/employee relations practices.

At Gamuda, he is responsible for the management and development of all human resource activities of the Group; covering all areas of human resource management & organizational development including the formulation of human resource policies, procedures & strategic direction to support the Group's expansion plan. He also oversees the Administration Department to ensure the efficient running of the general & corporate offices to support the Group's operations and key strategic initiatives.
