The Group has been awarded the US$3.8 billion construction of new electrified double-tracks to replace the current single track for the northern section railway line in Malaysia. The total length of the Double-Tracking rail project is 329km from Ipoh to Padang Besar.
The group is also involved in a major section comprising 4km of the Kaohsiung Metropolitan MRT Orange Line in Taiwan. Apart from tunneling and track laying works, two underground stations will be constructed by Gamuda in a joint venture with New Asia, Taiwan.
